Dr. Christensen did his undergraduate work at The
University of Maryland. He returned to his hometown of Philadelphia to
attend medical school at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
His residency in Internal Medicine took place at Abington Memorial Hospital,
followed by a residency in Pulmonary Medicine at Temple University Hospital.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary
Medicine, and Critical Care. He began with our Practice since 1988 and
stayed on, because he fell in love with the patients and the Practice.
At Abington Memorial Hospital, he is the Chairman of
the Institutional Review Committee and a member of both the Infection
Control Committee and the Bioethics Committee. His areas of specific
interest include occupational lung disease, and sarcoid and other
interstitial lung diseases.
Dr. Christensen is very active his church community.
He is the father of four sons and has one granddaughter. He is also
involved with the Philadelphia Symphonia.
