Dr. Swift was born in Syracuse, New York, but came to
the Philadelphia area at an early age. He graduated from The University of
Pennsylvania and Temple University School of Medicine.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board
Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
He came to Abington Memorial Hospital and to Abington
Pulmonary & Critical Care Associates, because he wanted to work in a large
community hospital. His work in the outpatient setting focuses on sleep
medicine and pulmonary medicine. In the inpatient setting, he performs
pulmonary and critical care consultations.
Dr. Swift’s areas of interest and expertise are COPD
and pulmonary hypertension.
